Sampa and Abrani, The Captain and The Chief, Spascoe and the VanMan. These are just a few of the aliases we’ve been known as over the years (or tried and failed to make happen for ourselves).

We met back in 2013 at AdSchool in New Zealand and, in a whirlwind workmance, won ourselves an award with our first project. We were then reunited in Australia, working on adjacent desks at DDB Sydney, before both making the move here to London. Never ones to fight fate, we thought it was about time to listen to the universe and become… Avani and Sam, creative team. Original, huh?

Among our combined achievements, we can count some rather nice work, a handful of industry awards, and the coveted role of custodians of the Party Swan, the most effective crowd navigation technique of all time (patent pending).
